EUROFAIR – Kent Food & Drink Festival in Dane
John Gardens, Canterbury – September 24th-26th.
Opening Times: Friday and
Saturday: 10a.m. to 5p.m.
Sunday: 10a.m. to 4p.m.
As in previous years, we shall have a stall selling
Fairtrade goods during the weekend. This is always a valuable opportunity to
present Fairtrade to a wider public.
WHOLE WORLD FAIR – St Peter’s Methodist Church Hall, StPeter’s
Street, Canterbury –
30th
October from 10a.m. to 4p.m.
This is another annual event. The centrepiece will be a big
Traidcraft stall selling a wide range of fairly traded goods of all kinds,
including food, jewellery, craft items and cards. A great opportunity to stock
up for a fair-trade Christmas. Part of the stall will be a publicity table with
a competition to raise awareness of Fairtrade. Many other organizations will be
present.
Lunches with homemade soup and bread and cheese will be on
sale and teas and coffees will be served throughout the day.
