EUROFAIR – Kent Food & Drink Festival in Dane John Gardens, Canterbury – September 24^th-26^th.

                          Opening Times: Friday and Saturday: 10a.m. to 5p.m.

                                                      Sunday: 10a.m. to 4p.m. 

As in previous years, we shall have a stall selling Fairtrade goods during the weekend. This is always a valuable opportunity to present Fairtrade to a wider public.  

WHOLE WORLD FAIR – St Peter’s Methodist Church Hall,  StPeter’s Street, Canterbury –

30^th October  from 10a.m. to 4p.m. 

This is another annual event. The centrepiece will be a big Traidcraft stall selling a wide range of fairly traded goods of all kinds, including food, jewellery, craft items and cards. A great opportunity to stock up for a fair-trade Christmas.  Part of the stall will be a publicity table with a competition to raise awareness of Fairtrade. Many other organizations will be present.

Lunches with homemade soup and bread and cheese will be on sale and teas and coffees will be served throughout the day.

• Fairtrade Fortnight 2009: 'Who Owns Fairtrade?' - a meeting at the University of Kent jointly organised by Canterbury District Fairtrade Network and the University of Kent Fairtrade Steering Group, 5th March.

• Friday 26th February - Sunday 11th March: Fairtrade Fortnight 2007 included a Fairtrade and local produce fair and tasting events at Kent University, several stands at local supermarkets, coffee mornings and lunches, a Fairtrade dance and a DJ event both at Christchurch University and a showing of the film Black Gold at Kent University.
